12 Nollywood Actors Who Met Their Partner on Movie Set

Sometimes an onscreen passion and romance that ignite between two people when they are paired in a movie transcend beyond the screens.

Nollywood has a beautiful tale of actors who appeared as couples in a movie consolidating that chemistry long after the director has said ‘cut.’

It is just similar to what happens in Hollywood, most significantly how celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met on the set of ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ movie somewhere in 2006. On how their relationship started, Jolie had said;

“Because of the film we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened,” she told the publication. “I think a few months in I realized, ‘God, I can’t wait to get to work.’”

She added, “We just became kind of a pair. And it took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we’d earlier allowed ourselves to believe.”

You can also vividly remember that our very own Chris Attoh from Ghana met his former Nigerian wife Damilola Adegbite while filming Africa’s biggest telenovela, ‘Tinsel’, same as Florence Uwaleke & Iyke Okechukwu who also met on the same movie set.Today, I’m going to share with you 12 actors who met their partners on a movie set. Maybe the next time you’re watching something, you can see someone from this list and turn to your friend and say, “Oh, did you know these two actually met on a movie set?”
