As part of the operations of the military task force against illegal mining popularly known as ‘galamsey’ Eight excavators reportedly belonging to the National women’s organiser of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Kate Gyamfua has been burnt in the Eastern region.
Reports indicate that the 8 excavators burnt were part of about 20 machines that were burnt in the operation by the ant-galamsey task force.

From what we have gathered the operation took place across Larbikrom, Dompem and Pamen which are located in the Atiwa District in the Eastern region of Ghana.
A video making rounds on social media display how the excavators of the NPP women’s organiser Kate Gyamfua got destroyed by the task force.
