Andy Serkis is an English actor, director, and producer. He was born on April 20, 1964, in Ruislip, London, England.
Serkis is best known for his pioneering work in motion capture acting and voice work, particularly for his portrayal of Gollum in the “Lord of the Rings” film trilogy and “The Hobbit” films, as well as Caesar in the “Planet of the Apes” film series.
He has also appeared in numerous other films, including “King Kong,” “The Prestige,” and “Black Panther,” among others.
