Black Sherif bags 12 nominations in Ghana Music Awards Europe

With twelve nominations, Black Sherif is the frontrunner for the Ghana Music Awards Europe 2023.

He was nominated for Artiste of the Year, Hip Life/Hip Pop Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Hip Life/Hip Pop Song of the Year, in addition to other categories.

Black Sherif rose to prominence in 2021 with the release of “First Sermon” in May 2022.

Camidoh, the singer of the hit song “Sugarcane,” received 9 nominations, followed by King Promise with 11 nominations.

Sarkodie and Stonebwoy are among those who have received six nominations each. Diana Hamilton and Shatta Wale each received five nominations.

The Ghana Music Awards Europe (GMA EUROPE) were successfully launched on March 1, 2023, in Accra.

The event was well-attended by a large number of celebrities, media figures, and artists.

The event provided an opportunity for the organizers to introduce Jim Ray Estates Limited as the Title Sponsor of the Ghana Music Awards Europe.

Jim Ray Estates Ltd. CEO James Okine expressed delight and hope for his participation in the Ghana Music Awards Europe.

He announced an aperitive land package in Accra for the winners of the Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Europe Based Artist of the Year awards.

He claims that the winners of the three aforementioned categories will each receive two (2) plots of land valued at GHS 120,000, one (1) plot valued at GHS 60,000, and one (1) plot valued at GHS 60,000.
