Christian Atsu Twasam, a Ghanaian footballer, was reported to be trapped under rubble after an earthquake in Turkey a few days ago.
According to reports, Atsu, who currently plays for the Turkish Süper Lig club Hatayspor, was on the 9th floor of the collapsed building along with nine other players and two officials.
A search and rescue operation for the former Chelsea and Newcastle player has been launched, and over 3000 people have been killed and thousands have been injured.
However, just hours after the news of this tragic event broke, it was revealed that Christian Atsu had been found and was being treated at a hospital.
In an interview with Christian Atsu’s twin sister, Atsupie, she confirmed that her brother was discovered alive.
Atsupie claims to have been reliably informed that her twin brother is safe and sound, but
“I got a call from his agent saying he was found and taken to the hospital. We give thanks to God, but I’d like to hear his voice to confirm the reports. I’m getting ready to leave for Turkey, and I’d like to see the extent of his injuries. “These last few hours have been difficult, with tears and prayers to God,” she revealed.
