The sad demise of Captain Maxwell Mahama broke the heart of many Ghanaians. The incident happened at Denkyira Obuasi where he was lynched to death after mistaking him for an armed robber. According to the reports, it was planned to kill him based on his effort to fight against galamsey in the area.
Following the case, the police and the military did a great job to arrest some of the people in the community and they are still facing trials at the supreme court of Ghana.
Captain Maxwell Mahama left behind a beautiful wife and two children. His wife Barbara holds a master’s degree in Media studies and communication from the University of Ghana Legon.
Barbara did not give up pursuing his ambition after the sad demise of her husband. She has been doing very well with the support she received from the government. She is currently the CEO of one biggest clothing lines in the country called Signature fashion house.
