The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketiah has described the outcome of the 2020 election Petition as a mistrial at the Supreme Court.
According to the NDC Chief scribe, he was not surprised at the ruling of the Court and he felt vindicated by the ruling of the Court.
The NDC General Secretary made these comments in an interview with Citi TV’s Umaru Sanda Amadu on his program, Face to Face last night.
He further stated that, if Ghanaians are not careful, the next elections in Ghana will be very worse.
He also emphasized that the NDC was in the Court to hold the Electoral Commission accountable to Ghanaians on how the elections were conducted, but the Court did not allow this.
Asked why he told the court as a witness, he is not the petitioner, the NDC General Secretary indicated that he was not in the mind of John Mahama to know what was going on in his mind.
