Emily Seebohm is an Australian competitive swimmer who was born on June 5, 1992, in Adelaide, South Australia.
She is primarily a backstroke specialist but has also competed in other events such as freestyle and individual medley.
Seebohm has represented Australia in multiple international competitions including the Olympic Games, World Championships, Commonwealth Games, and Pan Pacific Championships.
Some of Seebohm’s notable achievements include winning gold and silver medals in the 200-meter backstroke and 4×100-meter medley relay, respectively, at the 2012 London Olympics.
