Evanna Lynch is an Irish actress who is best known for her role as Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter film series.
She was born on August 16, 1991, in County Louth, Ireland.
Lynch is a fan of the Harry Potter book series and was chosen from thousands of other girls who auditioned for the role of Luna Lovegood in the fifth Harry Potter film, “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”.
She went on to reprise her role in the remaining three films of the series: “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1”, and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2”.
Outside of her work on the Harry Potter films, Lynch has also appeared in several other movies and television shows.
As an activist, Lynch advocates for veganism and animal rights.
She has been involved with several non-profit organizations and launched both a vegan-themed podcast and the cruelty-free cosmetics brand Kinder Beauty Box.
