Fire service personnel at Begoro in the Eastern Region of Ghana have given residents the shock of their lives when they arrived at a fire scene in a taxi cab instead of official cars used for fighting fire in the country.
Reports reaching us indicates that the fire tender in that area has been faulty over a week now but there is no money to fix it.
When helpless residents called the fire service personnel they quickly rushed from their offices and charted a cab only to come watch the house to burn because they had nothing to help curb the fire.
Residents expressed worry and disappointment in the leaders for failing Ghana this much.
