A straphanger was stabbed with an ice pick in the city’s subway on Friday, according to authorities.
According to authorities, the 38-year-old victim was waiting for a Manhattan-bound J train with a buddy at the Crescent Street station in East New York, Brooklyn, shortly after 4 a.m. on April 19 when he was suddenly struck by a stranger in an unprovoked attack.

The victim was stabbed in the stomach by his assailant, who didn’t say a word, cops said.
The injured man was transferred to Interfaith Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.
According to investigators, the victim’s buddy, a 43-year-old guy, was unharmed.
Cops released a photo of the suspect in an attempt to find him.
