Humza Yousaf Wife: Meet Nadia El-Nakla

Humza Yousaf is a Scottish politician and a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Glasgow Pollok constituency.

He is a member of the Scottish National Party (SNP) and has held several positions in the Scottish Government since his election to the Scottish Parliament in 2011, including Minister for External Affairs and International Development, Minister for Transport and the Islands, and Cabinet Secretary for Justice.

Yousaf was born in 1985 in Glasgow, Scotland, and is of Pakistani descent. He grew up in Pollok and attended the University of Glasgow, where he earned a degree in politics and sociology.

Prior to entering politics, Yousaf worked as a freelance journalist and as a parliamentary assistant to Bashir Ahmad, the first Muslim MSP in Scotland. He is known for his advocacy of social justice and equality, and has been a vocal critic of Islamophobia and racism.

Nadia El-Nakla is of Egyptian and Pakistani descent and works as a solicitor.

She has been supportive of her husband’s political career, and they have two children together.
