Award-winning comedian Derrick Kwabena Bonney known popularly as DKB has said he no longer wants the celebrity tag.
This comes after three celebrities including the influential Shatta Wale, Funny Face and AMG Medikal.
DKB believes that the celebrity tag in Ghana currently comes with a bad omen and would not want anything to do with it.
The comedian wants to be recognized as a “normal Ghanaian” who has no influence and po[polarity.
“I don’t want to be a celebrity in Ghana again!,” he said in a tweet.
Shatta Wale and three others have been remanded for spreading false news. The four will be behind police bars for the next one week.
Meanwhile, Rapper Medikal was also arrested Thursday night for brandishing a gun in a video on social media.
