The Bono Regional Youth Organizer for the National Democratic Congress, Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has revealed the update on Techiman South constituency seat which is pending in Wenchi High Court for some months now.

Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has disclosed that the court has ruled in favour of them after they have requested to inspect some documents from the electoral Commission of Ghana and also serve on them some Interrogatories.

If Ghanaians could remember, the parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress in Techiman South constituency, Hon Christopher Bayere has accused the electoral Commission of Ghana for “cheating” him in the just ended parliamentary election in Techiman South constituency in the Bono East Region, which ended up with some unarmed civilians losing their lives.

NDC parliament candidate believes that the election has “stolen” by the electoral commission to his opponent on the side of NPP, and hence went to court since January and they have won big from the Wenchi court to inspect EC’s original documents and also to serve on them some Interrogatories as requested.

According Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo, he stated that “Updates On Techiman South seat” as caption and said “Unlike the Supreme Court, the Wenchi High Court ruled in our favour on the following request we made:

1.Inspection of Documents.

2.On our interrogatories we filed.

The next court date is 14th April 2021, Wenchi High Court.
