Pictures and a profile of Mrs. Belinda Afriyie Nimako, the wife of the thorny First Atlantic Bank CFO, Mr. Ernest Kwasi Nimako, have surfaced.
The gentleman‘s choice to date a National Service Member when he obviously had a lovely woman at home infuriated many people.

A doctor of medicine with nine years of experience in the public sector, Belinda Afriyie Nimako has worked in clinical settings, project administration, research, undergraduate education, and leadership. She graduated from The University of Ghana Medical School and Wesley Girls’ High School.
She chose to work in Ghana’s rural districts after receiving top honors in her Master of Public Health class, applying her expertise where it was most needed.
As the South Dayi Acting Director of Health Services, Belinda now oversees a 124-person team that develops policies, programs, and clinical treatment for the region’s approximately 53,000 primarily rural residents.
She has contributed to the creation of a public health undergraduate degree at the University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ghana. Belinda also put up a World Health Organization addendum on severe malaria. She now holds a position on the Food and Drug Authority of Ghana’s Board.
Belinda is certain that the fellowship will increase her capability to successfully contribute to the long-term sustainability of public health in Ghana and elsewhere.
Belinda Nimako intends to apply the skills she has acquired upon her return to provide effective leadership in order to enhance the health of the residents of her district and the wider community.
She also plans to create a network of peers from various backgrounds to mentor other young people and instill in them a value for excellence and a social conscience.
