Ghanaian rapper Yaa Pono, also known as Ponobiom, has responded to Kwaw Kese’s dismissal of his musical accomplishments.
Kwaw Kese recently chastised Yaa Pono for releasing the diss song Yard’ directed at Sarkodie.
Yaa Pono mocked Sarkodie in the diss track by pointing out that he had been featured on a deceased guy’s record (Bob Marley).
Furthermore, he boasted that he is a better rapper than Sarkodie and that he can beat him on the mic on any given day.
Responding to Yaa Pono’s Twitter diss song to Sarkodie, Kwaw Kese advised Yaa Pono to focus on bettering himself rather than wasting energy and resources on another person.
“If you diss someone who is ahead of you in everything, you’re wasting your time,” he tweeted. Use that energy to improve yourself.”
However, Ponobiom has responded to the rants from Kwaw Kese’s camp calling his move stupid.
On Monday, January 30, the rapper stated in a live video that his colleague came after him solely for clout.
He expressed his displeasure by saying: “I don’t usually go online unless I’m promoting my music, and I just released ‘Yard,’ thanks to Fox Beats. Back to the point: I run the streets, forgetting about everyone. The main reason I’m calling out Kwaw Kese is that I’m speaking directly to you. Do you get what I’m saying?
“I should have picked up the phone and called.
Kwaw Kesse, according to Yaa Pono, has never helped anyone in his camp, so he should not add his voice to his case.
“I’d like Kwaw Kese to know that I don’t mince words. He should direct his efforts toward assisting his brother, a musician at Swedru “He stated.
Yaa Pono also stated that he has made several people famous, including Blak Sherif, and that Kwaw Kese should be quiet and refrain from adding his voice to his (Yaa Pono’s) dispute with Sarkodie.
